Four Cooley Attorneys Named Top Washington, DC Attorneys

Reston, VA – September 23, 2008 – Four attorneys based in Cooley Godward Kronish's Mid-Atlantic region were named Top Washington Lawyers in the Washington Metropolitan area by the Washington Business Journal

Business and Technology partner Mike Lincoln was selected as the winner in the Corporate Finance category and Real Estate partner John Lavoie was selected as the winner in the Real Estate Transactions category.  In addition, partner Mark Looney and associate Tara Lee were named “Young Guns.”  The Young Guns category honors the area’s up and coming lawyers.

Cooley had six attorneys nominated as finalists, more than any other firm in the region.  Partners Antonio Calabrese  and Adam Ruttenberg were finalists in the Zoning and Technology Transactions categories, respectively. 

Cooley has offices in Reston, Va. and Washington, DC, totaling 120 attorneys in the region who focus on a wide range of matters, ranging from emerging companies, venture capital, real estate and land use, intellectual property, general commercial litigation and several other areas.
