Alan D. Hambelton is an associate in the Cooley Business department and a member of the Emerging Companies practice group. He joined the Firm in 2008 and is resident in the Seattle office.
Mr. Hambelton's practice focuses on all aspects of emerging company development, including venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Hambelton joined the Firm from Heller Ehrman. Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, he worked as a legal extern with the King County Prosecutor's Office in 2005.
Mr. Hambelton earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a Board Member of the William Minor Lile Moot Court. He also holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington.
Mr. Hambelton is admitted to practice in Washington State and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
