Kelly N. Bartling is an associate in the Cooley Business department. She joined the firm in 2006 and is a resident in the Colorado office.
Ms. Bartling specializes in corporate and securities law with an emphasis on the representation of emerging growth companies in a variety of transactions, including venture capital financings, private placements, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. She also regularly represents venture investors in financing and restructuring transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bartling was an associate at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in San Francisco.
Ms. Bartling received a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2003, where she served as a member of the Boalt Technology Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She received a B.S. in Business Administration, with highest distinction, from the University of Nebraska in 2000.
Ms. Bartling is admitted to practice law in Colorado and California and is a member of the State Bar of Colorado and the State Bar of California.
