Rama Padmanabhan is Special Counsel in the Cooley Business department. She is also a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. She joined the Firm in 2005 and is resident in the San Diego office. Ms. Padmanabhan's practice includes general business and corporate representation, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and public company representation. Prior to joining Cooley, Ms. Padmanabhan was an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Ms. Padmanabhan received a J.D. in 1999 from Harvard Law School. She received a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 1999. In 1994, she received an A.B. in mathematics and economics from Mount Holyoke College. Ms. Padmanabhan is a member of the State Bar of California.
